Hi Maja, We owe you a huge thank you, because we had the most amazing holiday in beautiful Split. Everything was stress free thanks to Croatia Tours & the holiday went without a problem. LOCATION - 30 seconds to Stadion Poljud, where Ultra was held, we could not have been closer, this was so convenient for us! Easy to reach bacvice beach & old town too. Never more than ten minutes walk to anywhere we needed to go really. ACCOMODATION - Mariposa was out of this world; the cleaniest self catering apartment I have ever stayed in, and identical to the online pictures. We were beyond satified with this. I have to seriously commend owner Darija! She really made our stay special. She had a bottle of wine on arrival for us, then on my birthday she gifted me with chocolates. All holiday she was available via Viber, Whatsapp, Email & she gave us great recommendations. Thanks Darija! FESTIVAL - I am recommending ULTRA to anybody who will listen. Truely, it is a one of a kind music festival, the atmosphere was euphoric & people from all over the world come together to celebrate the music. TRANSFERS/FLIGHTS - again, no stress here. Everything was organised - which really helped us get into holiday mode. I have no doubt that we will visit Croatia some time in the future, expect to hear from us again. Thank you!
Hi Maja We had a really great holiday in Croatia and Slovenia. Everything went like clockwork with the transfers and flights. We loved all the areas. Hotels very good. The rep in Rovinj - Maslinka, was great and gave us lots of great advice on what to do and see there. Many thanks for all your organising. Pauline
My son and I stayed here and would recommend the apartment. It is clean, fresh and well furnished and the owner was really resourceful. I was delighted to have a washing machine and clothes line . It is in a safe neighbourhood and is a 10 minute straight walk down to The Riva, as well as being convenient to a nice nearby beach. It would have been nice to have had air-conditioning in the bedroom which mattered to us as my son was sleeping on the couch-bed and likes to watch TV. Best regards, Aine
Hi Maja, Just a note to say thank you for putting together a wonderful package for us recently. As you know, we stayed at the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel and then the Hotel Astoria in Kotor, Montenegro. We absolutely loved Croatia and will definitely go back - it would be interesting to explore some of the other islands next time. We also loved the Croatian wines - really wonderful. The Dubrovnik Palace was amazing and in fact it was a good idea to have done 5 nights HB and 5 nights B&B as then we got to try some of the lovely local restaurants in Lapad and in the Old Town on the other nights. One thing you might like to know, is that the hotel had no problem with us deciding on the day if we wanted to use the HB option that evening - in other words, we did not have to use it on consecutive nights, which is what you originally thought. We also got our west facing room on a high floor which was fantastic as we got to view beautiful sunsets. The Astoria was great and we got our quiet room at the back. It is just as well because there is a very very noisy bar outside of the front of the hotel! A lot of people we met would not recommend Budva for the traveller looking for a quiet holiday, so it seems that Kotor was the right decision, and the scenery around Boka Bay was just breath-taking. We will certainly be recommending Croatia and your company to our friends and family. Kind regards and I hope you have a good summer. Caroline
Hi Maja, Just returned from our holiday yesterday. Thank you for arranging everything for us all transfers were very punctual and went very smoothly. Our stay in Split was great; the Luxe hotel was a lovely hotel, spotless, clean, nice breakfast, comfortable beds and very quiet at night which was nice. It was so close to all the restaurants and sights, so very convenient, they even gave us a bottle of wine for staying with them which was a lovely touch. Cannot recommended this hotel enough. Our 2nd week in Biograd was nice but the hotel in my opinion is no way a 4 star - 3 if that at best. This hotel seems to have a lot of families with young children so would not recommend this hotel for couples. The food was average and the beds uncomfortable. The small pool in sister hotel was too crowded to avail of its use. The beach area was fine but rental of beds everyday was a pain considering hotel was so large pity it didn't have its own pool. Biograd itself was fine for 3 or 4 days max, but wouldn't recommend it for any longer, unless you have your own transport. The rep Ivan was very nice and well informed. As I said before thanks again for all your help. Regards, Lisa
Just back from a lovely holiday in Cavtat and the beautiful Hotel Croatia. Thank you so much for organising it for us and we look forward to exploring other areas of Croatia in the future. Regards, Pamela
Hi Maja, just a short note to let you know that we had a very enjoyable holiday in Croatia & Slovenia. We loved the great variety of the 3 different resorts , with great contrast between the mountains & lakes around Lake Bled and the lovely coast around Opatjia & Rovinij. The weather overall was good although we did have some very heavy thunderstorms on a couple of days-never got too hot, mid 20's most days. We thought that the hotels in Bled and Rovinij were very good ;there was plenty of restaurants in each resort, so we ate out every night.Overall,it was a great holiday, everything went well with no delays or hassle and we felt very safe at all times with no sign of trouble or vandalism. So, Maja, thanks so much for your excellent recommendations and especially for making all the arrangements that ensured we had such a great holiday. It was our 2nd time to book our holidays with you and we've been very impressed on both occasions with the excellent service provided. We're very happy to recommend Croatia to our friends and will certainly encourage them to contact you if they plan to visit. Many thanks again, Ethyl and Terry.
Hi Sharon, We have just arrived home from a most enjoyable holiday in Dubrovnik. We were fortunate that the weather was good except for 2 days when it rained, and really rained. The hotel was very nice and the staff very welcoming. Their dining room had excellent meals at night and we ate there every night -a great variety of food catering for all tastes. Our first visit was to the Old Town where I was amazed by the townspeople's impressive resilience in rebuilding so well, and so quickly following the bomb attacks after the siege. We bought tickets for the walkabout the city wall. We were only able to climb the steps to the half way stage, where we abandoned the tour and spent the rest of the day in the city. Here we found the museums most interesting. We took guided tours to Madjugorje, Mostar, Elephites Islands and Montenegro. I really enjoyed my day in Kotor. On our way home we stopped in Budva. You see we made the most of our visit which we thoroughly enjoyed and we found the people friendly and helpful. I'd like to thank Dubrovnik Tours and you Sharon for giving us the opportunity to see such a wonderful place and learn of its interesting history. Once again many thanks. Your sincerely, Olive
Sharon & Maja, We really enjoyed our holiday in Croatia and thank you both for your help in making it a truly great break. Brendan & Eileen Pat & Maura
Hi Maja, Just to let you know that we had a fantastic time in Villa Tosic last week. The owner is a real character and was very helpful. The location could not have been better and in the end we were really happy that we stayed in the apartment. Dubrovnik was amazing and we look forward to returning to Croatia. Thanks for all your help. Martin.
