“Since I joined the company I have been lucky enough to travel to Croatia every year, I absolutely love it.
I have stayed in a number of different hotels and in our self-catering apartments in Dubrovnik ,Cavtat, & the island of Mljet.
On one of my trips I did a twin-centre and spent a few days in Montenegro which I highly recommend it is a very pleasant drive from Dubrovnik and well worth a visit.
Only last October I travelled to Istria for one week. My main purpose was to check out the various resorts and hotels available. All the accommodation was of an excellent standard reinforcing our confidence in offering this destination to our clients. Istria offers many beautiful coastal walks and great restaurants providing top quality food and wine. For anyone that has been to Dubrovnik and who may be looking for somewhere a little different, believe me, Istria ticks all the boxes”.
Maja is an incredible asset to our team. Joining us from Split, the second-largest city in Croatia,12 years ago, Maja is an expert on tailor made holidays. She also excels at organising multi-centre options and is our local authority on the sailing adventure program.
"I love promoting Croatia as it’s my home and I find it so rewarding when our clients come back and tell us what wonderful holidays they enjoyed. Obviously I know Split inside out so I find it very easy to recommend. I always keep up to date with events there and so know exactly what is going on, where and when it’s happening in this wonderful city. I have been to most regions of Croatia. For instance, last year I took the “Dalmatian Highlights Cruise” which began in Dubrovnik and then cruised around the delightful islands of the region. I thoroughly recommend this option for anyone seeking a relaxing holiday. The one place I haven’t been to is Montenegro - I’m hoping to get there sometime this year (and if Niall reads this – who knows!)."
