If visiting Mostar hasn't made your bucket list yet, now is the perfect time. With direct flights to Mostar, visit this historical gem and its iconic bridge, then head to the loveliest coastline in Dalmatia Brela.
The town of Mostar is one of Bosnia & Herzegovinas most popular destinations. With cobblestoned streets filled with souvenir shops, old stone buildings, and its beautiful bridge Stari Most spanning the picturesque Neretva River, this town looks like it was plucked from the pages of a fairy-tale. The streets of this little jewel can get quite crowded midday, as day trippers visit Mostar, but at night, the crowds thin and wandering these streets becomes a joy. If looking for a swim stop in serene ambience and less than 1hr drive from Mostar, the nature lovers can visit Kravice Falls which resemble Plitvice Lakes in Croatia, but on a smaller scale. Blagaj Tekija, a Dervish monastery built at the base of a cliff on the Buna River is also worth a visit. For those who crave cultural variety and history, the highlight of touring around is - Sarajevo, one of Europes most intriguing cities.
The second portion of this two-centre holiday will be spent in a little Town of Brela. Its six kilometres of pebble beaches that curve around coves forested with pine trees and a shady promenade lined with bars and cafes makes this place a wonderful beach holiday.
