Day 1 Thursday
Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport, you will be transferred to 4-star Hotel Dubrovnik or 4-star Hotel Intercontinental. These hotels offer you not only a superior comfort, but also the opportunity to simply step out into the heart of all Zagrebs happenings.
In Zagreb you will witness citys many faces from the formal institutional capital to the laid-back place with a metropolitan zest. You can visit the Cathedral, Ban Jelacic Square, Zrinjevac Park, King Tomislav Square. The Upper Town which is full of charm, gathers a lot of Zagreb interest points such as the Dolac Market, St. Mark's Church, the Museum of Broken Relationships, Kamenita Vrata etc.
Day 2 Friday
You might consider taking a day trip to discover the breath-taking Plitvice Lakes - a national park which is without a doubt, one of Croatias most stunning natural wonders with its mesmerizing waterfalls and turquoise lakes. After this full day trip which is bookable locally, and upon return to Zagreb, you can pick a special place for your dinner. The choice is limitless, from bistros to high-end restaurants, and good food is guaranteed. Our favourites are Stara Vura, Fotic, Bocca Marai, Vinodol.
Day 3 Saturday
Exploring Zagreb on foot is easy. Even aimless walking leads to discovering some of the citys major attractions. In the morning, we suggest you spending time in the city centre, visit the town's most popular Dolac farmers market, which is swarming with life in early hours. Drift along Spica towns celebrated coffee strip with excellent spots to do some shopping. If you wish to escape the urban bustle, go for a walk to Maksimir, densely forested park that hides five lakes and a number of streams, or spend an afternoon exploring one of Zagreb's museums or galleries that boast variety of artworks.
Day 4 Sunday
Transfer to Zagreb Airport for your homebound flight.
You dont have to limit your city break option to Zagreb only. For other fantastic weekend getaways that don't eat up too many holidays, please contact the office and we will be more than delighted to put something together for you. Irresistible and historic Dubrovnik, bustling Split or phenomenal Zadar - you can go to the beach in the morning to dip in the blue Adriatic, soak up the city's heritage or uncover some well-kept secrets in the afternoon, and then hit the nightlife scene which is waiting to welcome you.
