Budva is one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic Coast. This picturesque town, encircled by well-preserved medieval city walls, and its Riviera with sandy beaches and diverse nightlife, is the center of Montenegrin tourism. The historic Old Town is filled with cobbled streets, smart boutiques, shops, coffee bars, galleries, and a glittering seafront.
Cavtat, a delightful and charming village just 20 km from Dubrovnik, is a must-see place for many Irish throughout the years. It is small but with a great buzz, with bars and restaurants scattered along the promenade, making it a choice for those who want to escape the crowded streets of Dubrovnik yet be in close vicinity. Taxi boats run constantly to/from Dubrovnik, offering one of the best and most scenic transportation methods. Cavtat has a few hotels nicely positioned around the village, with Hotel Croatia being the most popular. In the high seasons, Cavtat becomes fully pedestrianized, giving it an even more relaxing ambiance.
Day 1
Fly directly to Dubrovnik and transfer of approximately 3hr to your hotel in Budva.
Day 1 - 4
Three nights in 4-star Hotel Avala, perfectly located on the beach just outside the city wall, this hotel is one of our best sellers. Enjoy the day on the beach with magnificent view on the Old town of Budva. Take a stroll through the maze of the streets and relax in one of many restaurants and bars. Towns of Kotor, Perast, Tivat and the rest in Boka Kotorska bay are the most popular day trips. Or take a day trip to National Park Lovcen and visit Cetinje, once the capital of Montenegro.
Day 4
Your transfer to Cavtat is arranged and the driver will pick you up at hotel reception.
Day 4 - 8
Four nights in 5-star Hotel Croatia, the most popular hotel among Irish tourists. 10 min walk will get you to the centre of Cavtat with many restaurants and bars along the promenade. Taxi boats to Dubrovnik are frequent and that is the most scenic way off getting there. Walk Dubrovnik City walls and the famous Stradun street or take a Cable Car and enjoy the spectacular view on the town and islands.
Day 8
Transfer to Dubrovnik airport for your flight back home.
