Zagreb is the city with a pulse - at an easy pace. Its urban structure is an eclectic architectural mix spanning from medieval times, to the Viennese era, Art Deco and today. Explore the beauty of this walkable city, with its long-established parks, gardens, open spaces and mountainous backdrop. For a culture fix, you have over 80 museums, galleries and exhibitions.

After experiencing Zagreb's flourishing gastronomy and bar scene, you will be transferred to phenomenal and irresistible 'Old Lady' Opatija Town. Guarded by a backdrop of densely-wooded hills, Opatija sits where the Istrian peninsula joins the Kvarner Riviera. This charming and rather sophisticated resort was originally created by aristocrats of the Austro-Hungarian Empire; today, the splendour of that bygone era of opulence and grandeur still remains in the town. The magnificent coastline can be appreciated from a waterfront 'Lungomare' promenade which extends for 12km along the Gulf of Kvarner and connects Opatija with Lovran, an attractive small quaint town that offers you lots of hospitality, charm, warmth and relaxing atmosphere.

Day 1 Thursday
Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport, you will be transferred to 4-star Hotel Dubrovnik (or hotel of a similar standard). This hotel offers you not only a superior comfort, but also the opportunity to simply step out into the heart of all Zagreb's happenings.
In the afternoon you might consider taking a walking tour of Zagreb Upper Town. You will witness city's many faces from the formal institutional capital to the laid-back place with a metropolitan zest. You will be passing by Cathedral, Ban Jelacic Square, Zrinjevac Park, King Tomislav Square. The Upper Town which is full of charm, gathers a lot of Zagreb interest points such as the Dolac Market, St. Marks Church, the Museum of Broken Relationships, Kamenita Vrata etc. During the tour, your guide will be delighted to suggest some activities to suit your interests.

Day 2 Friday
Today we recommend you to put your comfortable shoes on and discover the breath-taking Plitvice Lakes - a national park which is without a doubt, one of Croatia's most stunning natural wonders with its mesmerizing waterfalls and turquoise lakes. The departures are usually scheduled in the morning, after breakfast. The return is in the evening. In Zagreb, pick a special place for your dinner. The choice is limitless, from bistros to high-end restaurants, and good food is guaranteed. Our favourites are Stara Vura, Fotic, Bocca Marai, Vinodol.

Day 3 Saturday
Exploring Zagreb on foot is easy. Even aimless walking leads to discovering some of the city's major attractions. In the morning, we suggest you spending time in the city centre, visit the town's most popular Dolac farmers' market, which is swarming with life in early hours. Drift along 'Spica' - town's celebrated coffee strip with excellent spots to do some shopping. If you wish to escape the urban bustle, go for a walk to Maksimir, densely forested park that hides five lakes and a number of streams, or spend an afternoon exploring one of Zagreb's museums or galleries that boast variety of artworks.
