We Enjoyed the Country Immensely

Dear Miho, We returned form our holiday in Croatia last night and enjoyed the country immensely and are planning our next trip already . We stayed in Hotel Ivan in Solaris which was excellent and very pleasant. We spent 7 days there and then moved to Split. In Split we stayed at the Mariposa Apartments which I believe is new to your company. The apartment is based in a residential block only a short walk from the Riva area . The apartment was exceptionally clean and well appointed with everything we would need . There were lovely finishing touches such as flowers and a welcoming bottle of wine and sweets! The apartment was only a short walk from Marjan Hill which we walked fully around. We also got speedboats to Hvar and the Blue Cave which were fantastic . However the main thing that greatly endeared us to this apartment was our host Darija . She was exceptionally professional, kind and genuinely caring. She advised us on trips and transport. My son and I are football fanatics and she managed to get us free tickets to the Hajduk Split v Rijeka match on Sunday (unfortunately they lost 4-2). This was one of the highlights of our trip. She was in contact with us regularly to ensure all was well and couldn't have been any more helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Split and would feel that your company could not go wrong in having such a warm and caring person as Darija associated with you. Our Apartment Was Perfect

Hi Miho, Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful holiday we had. We loved Dubrovnik and the surrounding area. So much to do and really beautiful surroundings. Our apartment was perfect - great location as you said - a good base for seeing the city and for the beach and excursions. We will definitely try to go back to Dubrovnik and to other areas of Croatia hopefully too. Organisation was first class - nice and easy transfers, all very relaxing. Cavtat is a beautiful destination

Hi Maja, We have just returned from our visit to Hotel Croatia, Cavtat! I thought you might be interested in some feed back. Firstly, Cavtat is a beautiful destination and we were so happy, after visiting Dubrovnik, that we were not staying there. The pace and atmosphere was just lovely and so were the people. The food in every restaurant was excellent. It was lovely to sit at night and watch the huge sail yachts come in and out. So thank you for that recommendation. Hotel Croatia worked out well with all its facilities however it being such a huge hotel we did not really find our bearings until near the end of the holiday. The location was superb but the many, many steps that you had to walk to either exit or access the hotel were exhausting at times! That said, it is a destination we would all visit again without hesitation . Thank you for helping us choose a great holiday. Regards, Helen

Everything went like clockwork

Hi Maja We had a really great holiday in Croatia and Slovenia. Everything went like clockwork with the transfers and flights. We loved all the areas. Hotels very good. The rep in Rovinj - Maslinka, was great and gave us lots of great advice on what to do and see there. Many thanks for all your organising. Pauline

We absolutely loved Croatia

Hi Maja, Just a note to say thank you for putting together a wonderful package for us recently. As you know, we stayed at the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel and then the Hotel Astoria in Kotor, Montenegro. We absolutely loved Croatia and will definitely go back - it would be interesting to explore some of the other islands next time. We also loved the Croatian wines - really wonderful. The Dubrovnik Palace was amazing and in fact it was a good idea to have done 5 nights HB and 5 nights B&B as then we got to try some of the lovely local restaurants in Lapad and in the Old Town on the other nights. One thing you might like to know, is that the hotel had no problem with us deciding on the day if we wanted to use the HB option that evening - in other words, we did not have to use it on consecutive nights, which is what you originally thought. We also got our west facing room on a high floor which was fantastic as we got to view beautiful sunsets. The Astoria was great and we got our quiet room at the back. It is just as well because there is a very very noisy bar outside of the front of the hotel! A lot of people we met would not recommend Budva for the traveller looking for a quiet holiday, so it seems that Kotor was the right decision, and the scenery around Boka Bay was just breath-taking.
