We had a great time

Hi Maja, Just want to say quick thank you to you. We are back from honeymoon and everything was smooth and we had a great time. Each city was slightly different and had its beauty. We had a very enthusiastic tour guide in Split and learnt a lot about Split. ;D Thank you for all your help and kind text message. We enjoyed all the hotels you recommended. Especially the hotel Neptune was lovely. =D It looks they are newly renovated, modern, spacious and quite. Thank you again for all your help. We were very lucky to find you. Best regards, Seung-hee

Dubrovnik and Cavtat

Hello Maja / Noeleen Thank you for your assistance in arranging and booking our holiday. We had a really lovely time in Croatia. The Grand Park Hotel was great and our stay there was extremely enjoyable, we would recommend that hotel to anyone. We had a mixed experience at the Albatross Hotel which unfortunately marred our otherwise super holiday. As you are aware and confirmed in the invoice, we specifically requested twin rooms in both hotels. However we arrived at the Albatross to be given a double room instead and were advised there were no twin rooms available and the hotel had not received any specific request for a twin room. After much ado & the lady at reception insisting our room was �really beautiful� ?! , we agreed to bear with the room for one night, on the basis that the hotel would squeeze in a small camp bed and we would have our required twin room the following day. This room was a very standard double room with a sort of side sea view and the air conditioning was working at about 20% of the capacity which it needed to be for the high temperatures. It was therefore a very uncomfortable night, especially for the person sleeping on the camp bed. We also contacted Tamara the rep, who confirmed we would be sorted the following day, so that was fine and we agreed was do-able. However, the next morning we asked for our new room only to be advised that there was still no twin rooms but one should be available the following day. We then insisted in speaking to the Manager, Mrs Branka, who advised we should not have been promised a twin room for the next day, as they cannot promise that and did not have any twin rooms nor were they aware we needed a twin room from the correspondence received. I would point out that Mrs Branka did refer to special requests she had to cater for from other bookings and our eticket showed the special request for twin beds, so I am not clear how our special request could not have been communicated . With little choice we agreed to spend another night in the double room. The following day we were moved to a proper twin room, with working air conditioning, and the rest of our stay in the hotel was fine. We did have a really lovely holiday although it was a pity we had the inconvenience of an unsuitable room for 2 of our 7 nights, which knocked us off course in making plans. I know things are not always perfect on a holiday but due to the cost of this holiday we did expect the basics to be what we needed and had requested. I also understand that some requests can only be made but not guaranteed, however the twin beds were a primary requirement from the outset and I feel the hotel should have provided that simple requirement . We would not choose to stay in Hotel Albatross again and for feedback purposes, we did speak to a few other guests who also said they would not stay there again and in particular were not impressed with the food. Loved Mlini

Hi Sharon, We had a fabulous time. Loved Mlini - it was perfect for us - we did a day scuba diving with Aquarius (complete beginners) a super family run business. Loved all of Croatia I saw, really look forward to going back. We did find the rooms in the hotel a little small and initially we were disappointed but the area and the general enjoyment we got from the holiday soon wiped that out! The stunning Old Town of Dubrovnik

Hi Maja, We are back a week now & I just wanted to say thanks to you & the team for organising a fabulous holiday. Our flights and airport transfers all went smoothly, the accommodation was brilliant and we really appreciated having Tamara (our local contact in Dubrovnik) there to answer questions and give advice. As we were travelling with our 15 month old daughter, the extra support was really appreciated. Tamara was able to help us decide what activities would be most child friendly and gave us extra ideas of things to do and places to visit. The old town of Dubrovnik is stunning but there is so much more to do and see and we had great fun visiting the island of Lokrum, going on a 3 island boat trip and spending time at the beaches and cafes in Lapad. We ended up having a very enjoyable, relaxing holiday and absolutely loved Croatia as a holiday destination. We would go back tomorrow!! Thanks again, Alexandria
