Wonderful trip in Croatia

Great holiday in Dubrovnik

Hi Maja, I had a great holiday in Dubrovnik and stayed for 10 days at Hotel Neptun. I had a lovely and very comfortable room and each morning enjoyed a hearty breakfast to set me off for the day. The dining room however was in another building, apart from the main hotel. I didn't mind this, but others in the group would have preferred if the dining room had been more accessible. We found both Croatia Tour guides to be very good and helpful, particularly the guide who lead the trip to Montenegro. We spread our wings a bit, walking the promenade as well as taking the coastal trail from Gruz to the Hotel President where we rewarded ourselves with a cup of coffee/tea and a very unhealthy but gorgeous cake. We climbed the steps and did the city walls and the following day we took the cable car and after lunch we visited the war museum. As well as visiting Lockrum Island we took a bus to the resort of Cavtat and returned by ferry to Dubrovnik. We ate most evenings in Dubrovnik, making use of the local bus, but we also ate at Hotel Neptun's restaurant, Zoes as well as at the More Hotel. It was a very enjoyable holiday, very lucky on the whole with the weather, the rain, thunder and lightening only taking place at night time. My philosophy is, that if your not good to yourself on your holidays, you will never be good to yourself. However, my only gripe is with our flight home with Air Contractors, we travelled out with Aer Lingus. The staff would not take Kunas when I wanted to pay for my coffee and chicken sandwich. Also, when I asked for a toasted ham and cheese sandwich I was informed, I should have ordered my hot meal in advance!!! I never heard of a toasted sandwich being called a hot meal before. I believe it was supposed to be ordered when the steward came around to sell the Irish Independent. It's a pity he didn't ask me whether I wanted a newspaper let alone a hot meal. Possibly the problem arose when the stewardess was having problems with her microphone and we couldn't hear what she was saying. I still enjoyed my holiday and hope at some stage to make a return visit to your lovely country. Many thanks for your assistance, Margaret

Hi Maja, Just wanted to let you know that we had a super holiday in Croatia, thanks so much for all your help particularly with the changes we had to do. We loved the cruise, got to see loads of gorgeous places and it was very relaxing, just what we needed! Croatia is a fantastic place for a holiday. Amazing Boat Trip

Maja, Many thanks for your assistance last week. We had a fantastic holiday and I'm depressed to be back at work today! The boat trip was amazing made only better by the skipper and guide we had. Your planning made the journey very easy for me, which meant I totally switched off and had another worry about my schedule! I'll be recommending Croatia and your company to family and friends.
